We're off again in a few days, but this time it will be to visit an old friend - Crystal Serenity. Crystal Cruises has relaunched under new ownership, and all reports so far have been fantastic. Eighty percent of the crew has returned, and we already know that we'll be seeing lots of old friends when we board. After our last cruise on Crystal in November 2021, we had expected to be back in February 2022, but that didn't happen. I had made some sketches in a journal during that cruise; here are some for your entertainment:

We'll be in Reykjavik, Iceland for a day as we were in May, but will be heading west and south as soon as we set sail, towards Newfoundland. We were supposed to go there last September on Seabourn Quest, but a hurricane caused a major change to the itinerary. Hopefully the weather will be a little less dramatic and allow us to see L'Anse aux Meadows at last.
