Vacation Time Again!

Here we are, another interesting trip on the horizon. This time we'll be heading for the UK, spending a few days in London before boarding the Caribbean Princess in Southampton and circling the British Isles.  And just in time for the pending Royal birth!! We'll let you in on the pandemonium if (when?) it happens while we're there - either in London or any of our other port stops.

This time we're travelling with Michel and Judy, who have been clients of Larry's for a few years and are our go-to London aficionados. We've got some interesting things planned for London before we board the ship - stay tuned to see just what they are! We've also booked a number of private tours in our various ports which should take us to places that the other 2,996 people on board won't get to, and might get us to the major attractions before the crowds.

As for packing, it turns out that the weather forecast for all of Britain is pretty much the same as we have here - hot (almost as warm as our last few days), humid and sunny. Hardly any rain - but that, of course, won't stop us from taking an umbrella and rain jacket. As we always say, if you don't have it, you need it...safer to take it along and not need it. Hopefully the good weather will hold out; needless to say we've packed more summer gear that we thought we'd need. As Monica says, that leaves more room in the suitcases for shopping!!

Yup, Franklin's just as interested in our suitcases as he ever was - NOT in the least! So we'll get on with the last of the preparations, ready to fly out this evening. As usual, we hope that you'll enjoy following along on this next adventure.
