Believe it or not, we're off again. This time our destination is the Hawai'ian islands. Norm had a hankering to play golf in Hawai'i for his 60th birthday, and of course things just grew from there! None of us has been there before, so rather than trying to figure out what best to see all by ourselves, we have booked a land tour with Globus. We've done the research on our hotels/resorts and are looking forward to the down time just as much as we are the tours themselves.
Our plans include renting a car to see something of Oahu other than Waikiki, and visiting the summit of Mauna Kea for stargazing. We're looking forward to these adventures and hope you'll enjoy following along. We'll do our best to be entertaining and informative, and post the odd nice photo as we go along.
Franklin seems to be more interested in helping with the dishes than in exploring our suitcases. He was up there once but didn't stay long enough to get a photo!
