It turned out that the best part of the summer happened after we got home from the last cruise. Now that it seems to be cooling off a bit, it's time for the next adventure. This will be quite a bit different, in that Crystal Esprit is a converted private yacht and only carries 62 passengers - talk about getting to know your fellow travelers!
This voyage will take us from Athens through some of the Greek islands and then up the east coast of the Adriatic Sea, ending in Venice. Oddly enough for us, the only place we've been to before is Athens. Everything else will be brand new, and we're looking forward to the whole experience. At least it won't be nearly as hectic as the cruise on Oceania Riviera - we don't arrive in some of our port stops until 10 a.m. or even noon, and we have much later departures.
